I've been having one of the worst emo-roller coaster ride of my life recently, especially the past week.
Been thinking alot. Maybe waaay too much. More so, when I'm alone, facing 4 walls and only the TV was talking to me. Think about what? About my life ahead. my direction. things happening to and around me. 庸人自扰? Everyone, in a point in life, will feel lost and need directions in each of our own paths. Maybe my 29th year of existence is that point in my life.
I could be so emo, that I almost teared while sms-sing my mum in the train, while I was telling her about my sian-ness. The power of Mums. She later brought me to my fave steamboat restaurant. Thanks Ma.
This is a deep dark hole that I've fallen into and only myself can get myself out of it. Though I do need and appreciate the emotional support. I need real hugs too. I sincerely do not wish to affect anyone in anyway. Unfortunately, I already did. My emotions are ever leaking out so easily. Sorry. I will settle this myself, and not torture anyone anymore. Trust me, I am torturing myself much much more than anyone else.
I'm offered a very sweet and supportive solution... it is a huge step to take, I will be freed but with lots of ???s ahead... I have the very strong and important support...now I just need the just-do-it power...
Ramblings of a sleepless nite again.

Jumbled. Mind-boggled. Cuckoo
Am so damn damn tired. Couldn't sleep AT ALL last nite. Why the hell am I working today....
Am having so many boggling thoughts (God knows why or even what), plus the loooong wait for THE CALL.
Am in need for a getaway.
Am going bonkers soon. anytime.

A Night as a VIP @ The Turf
Last Friday, we were invited to the VIP lounge @ the turf club as our friend's horse was in a race that night. It was my first time stepping into the turf club, not to mention the exclusive area where the line drawn between the 'high society' and 'commoners' was so damn bold and thick. Dress code was office attire. Had a buffet dinner (food was so-so only) there and watched races from the galleria. See the difference in the pictures below:

Placed a couple of bets (minimum $5) and I was very excited when my horseS were in the first few positions till they pong-jek at the end of the raceS.. all plural coz it happened twice. -_-" Then it was my fren's horse's turn next, so we went to the viewing gallery to watch the about-to-race-horses' parade. Basically they will walk in a circle where the punters watch, evaluate and bet. Difference was, we were right outside the stables while the punters were in designated seats.

Then the race begun.. though 'our' horse had a jerky start, it won!!! It was a really exciting and close fight; ultimately we won by a nose haha! We were all cheering and screaming with everyone else. We then went to the podium to take a picture with the horse and the jockey, and then later whisked to another private room for the champange popping ceremony. Damn cool huh!

Then when the race was about to begin, we were brought to a cordoned area to watch (we were on an elevated platform behind the crowd you see in the 2nd picture above).

Overall, it was really quite an experience, especially with the special privileges we had and the winning moments definitely.

我的欧洲明信片
Beautiful memories they are, but I do not miss these places... as much as the 552hours spent there. A pair of explorers leaving the world we know and entering a total alien zone, happily leaving our footsteps everywhere. Sometimes I think it's a blessing in disguise that I lost my handphone at the beginning of our adventure haha...
Looking forward to many many happy trips together. 加油!!
下一站, 香港? 台湾? 幸福?
Err.... gosh.

Where Did February Go?
This is ironic, considering my earlier post ha.
Can't 找回 and 挽回 February 2010 anymore, but I strive towards and look forward to a better March, and so forth.
"Stay positive and things will naturally come your way."
I might be rolled-eye-at or charged copyright fees for this, but I do agree.
So good news will come soon!

I Give Negative Vibes?
I'm quite a frank person. Especially so to my close/loved ones. (Don't you already know?)
I will give my comments/opinions outright (when asked or during conversations), but I dare say I do know when to be tactful and when I don't have to. Then there's another side-dish of when I'm joking or purely talking nonsense or not. Add in another dash of mood and perceptions, and you are beginning to get confused, but I shan't bother to explain any further.
When I think someone deserves to be praised or complimented, why not? Encouragement and support too. I do not lack in that department, no? I am definitely not one of those super-ego-boosters. To me they are almost boot-licking and so over-the-top, and it's puke-inducing. Worst when they made the boots grow wings.
So, I don't agree that I give negative vibes. or rather negative all the time. If those passing remarks have stung you in one way or another (which I am totally unaware/unintentional of), I shall keep them to myself from now on.. If you can't stomach my comments/opinions, then don't ask for any too.. Coz I just can't go 'Ohh, what a nice top!' when it really looked like shit.

It's February Already..
Was gonna say 'that's fast' but thought again, was it that fast? Actually quite normal pace for me.. nothing exciting, nothing new so far.
Time to look forward to CNY for the usual gatherings, feasting and gambling sessions. After that it's gonna be a PH-drought till April.
My frustration is snowballing almost daily. Not healthy. Haiz.
It's a Monday today.
Anyway.
We've bought tix already!

Resort World Sentosa & Universal Studios Singapore
Woohoo~~~ Yours Truly was one of the privileged group who had a free tour at RWS and USS. 1st stop was the casino. To me, it was quite huge and nice! Haven't been to any other casinos except for Genting's, my colleagues told me comparatively ours is quite big. Anyway, everything was damn new of course, and the croupiers were all sitting around, taking turns to 'serve' each other. They all looked quite young to me though. Not allowed to take pics inside, so be satisfied with these:

Next stop, we headed to Universal Studios Singapore! Weather was scorching and I sorely wished I'd my sunglasses or cap with me. Works are still going on here and there in the whole park. Basically there were Madagascar, Shrek, WaterWorld, Jurassic Park, Battlestar Galatica, Revenge of the Mummy, etc. Too bad we weren't allowed to take the rides coz they were all undergoing testings. Could only stand (closer) and drool at the roller coasters! The rides @ Jurassic Park and Revenge of the Mummy should be be fun too. Here's a sneak preview!

Can't wait for it to open! When? Here's what our tour leader had to say:
Tour Leader: Any other questions before we end our session?
Colleague: When is it going to open?
Tour Leader: That's a very good question. Next question please!
=)
