31 December, a day of reflections and resolutions for most.
Me? Resolutions? What resolutions? I've given up on them a long time ago. Simply because, there is no point making promises that I can't keep. Instead, I choose to live by the day - Be Happy and Healthy everyday, and I am contented. I've always been a person of no ambitions, not to mention having any plans a few years down the road (and of course this makes my most-hated interview question). And, 'Resolution'to me = Re-solution. Ain't that equivalent to making solutions over and over again for the same problem? No point lah. Practical much? Let's just say I'm brainwashed and groomed by Experience - A lifelong module, with Learning as the tutor.
Flipping back the pages of Book 2013, I must say I have no complaints about this year really. Travelled a fair bit, my loooong job search paid off, been healthy (touch wood), much loved and most of all, I found myself being able to declare that I am HAPPY. That's a great deal; Looking at how far I've come, how much I've grown (unfortunately my waistline as well), and what I've become. Here, I would like to use one of my fave quotes once again - "It doesn't matter where you came from, but where you are going." Indeed.
Tonight, I eagerly wrap up my cover for Book 2014, and I look forward to flipping the very 1st page. Here, I leave myself and everyone else yet another quote - "祝愿大家一切没事, 没事就好."
Thank you 2013, and Happy 2014. =)
