What did you do after the very last exam paper of your academic life?

My No.10 is swirling in a pool of numbers for his very last exam paper now, as I am typing this ha.

I can't remember leh. That's like a good 6+ years ago... Go home sleep? At that time all my frens were still either in school, NS, etc.

Anyway, what I could remember best is, that was the period of time where I was totally free - No more tutorials, lectures, projects, exams and also no work.

How I miss that kind of "Officially and Proudly 无所事事" feeling.

No More Wisdom

Ok, I've done it! As mentioned previously, I went to the dentist yesterday evening. Doc took one look and said my left top wisdom is biting my lower gum while the left bottom wisdom is infecting my gums which both adds up as a combo for the swelling. So he said have to remove both, and I'm like 'Now?' He gave me a look and went 'Then when?' Oook...

Don't get me wrong, he's a very good dentist though. Male in 30s, throughout the whole process he kept joking to me to soothe my nerves, and kept me assured by talking to me through the steps. He doesn't believe in yanking and tugging, which really really made the whole process less scary, unlike my previous experience where the lady doc made my poor tooth her deadliest enemy and yanked with all her might. Began with the bottom surgical one, doc had to drill the tooth into many small pieces as it was too rooted and along with my molar tooth infront of it, they could well be the Chang and Eng Brothers. After the oral medicine and few jabs, there was no pain, but you could still feel the drilling. The root was like the previous one, a whole chunk, only this time it actually hooked on to part of my jaw bone as well. So, more drilling. It was also blackish, doc said it wasn't decayed but due to some medicine I had taken before.

The top one was relatively easier, he used something like a nail and hammer to hammer it for a while and it got loose and was pulled out. The hammering impact was quite bad though.. it was like my head kena banged on the wall a few times.

All in all, it ONLY took 30 mins for both. The previous one took almost 2hrs for just 1 freakin tooth. And its cheaper too... $850+ whereas the previous was near $900 for just 1. Had 4 stitches and it was nicely done, such that there wasn't much blood. As usual it was v painful when the anesthetic wore off a few hours later... couldnt sleep the whole night and its painful to swallow my saliva, not to mention eat. However, I felt its still much better than last time.So when it's time your wisdom leaves you, I will definitely recommend him to you. 8 days of mc woohoo~~~

Fuck 扬光大

A bit crude hor haha.. This title has nothing to do with this post, which is really just another of my out-of-boredom blabbling on a lagi-no-mood-to-work Friday noon. It's a 成语 that I added to my Minglish Cindictionary last nite heh.

In my flow of speech, it's very common to hear added colours of vulgarities in it, much to the amusement and not-so-amusement of those around me. Not v polite and '女人' (what the heck) lah, but to me it's just a form of added-expression. Expect a huge torrent when I'm really angry ha.. There are times where me n No.10 scold each other using vulgarities in jest, which I think adds spice to our dailies, though there were a couple of times where it got ermm... overly spicy. And hor, wana say say lah, hate it when people use abbreviations e.g. What the F... What, using abbreviations is less 'wrong' huh? Duhh...

My wisdom hurts.. the left bottom one. Gum swelled up... Siao liao. Later gonna see dentist. Can't believe all the dental clinics are so fully booked! Tried sooooo many before I finally found 1 @ Bt Batok. Hope to either calm it and hang on till I come back from my trip, or follow the 'Tick' 精神, get it over and done with. Just worried that either one will affect me while I'm overseas. 麻烦死了...

Speaking of my Trip, have been doing planning with No.10 and we are still not done yet. Lotsa things to plan and take note of. It's nice to do it together though =) The over-worked flu bug is still flying around tirelessly, hope it won't catch us... the 7-day quarantine sounds good though heh heh.

Workwise, haiz, like that lor.

"At least after you kena slapped, you will learn and will prevent from being slapped for the same reason again." - Just something I told a friend over msn seconds ago. Me myself who said this felt that this is so true. But some need many slaps before they can truly wake up. Well, then at least they still woke up. Ya noe what I'm sayin'?

Gonna attend 3 weddings in the coming 2 weeks... I've totally lost count of they are the how many-th this year already..

My last babble for now... Somehow, I just do not have a good vibe about 'it'... Duno why and dun ask me what it is... See how it goes ba..

Have a good weekend everyone. Hope we can meet up soon. Miss our mahjong sessions loads. =)

I Love My New Toy!

Heh heh... Just in case you still don't know, I've always had an interest in photography and I've wanted a DSLR for ages... SO! Knowing these and with my upcoming trip as a catalyst, No.10 bought me this camera. Now I'm learning how to use it as much as I can and the manual is my new fave book. Amateur mah... Soooo many knobs and turns to learn. Master liao then take nice pics in Europe =p. Gonna be a challenge carrying this around though. Maybe next time can go into freelance photography? Xin, consider hiring me for Dylan's party? Hee. Meet me soon and let me shoot you!

Thank you Darling!

My 4 Year-Old Birthday @ CG

Date of Birth: 15 June 2005
Suddenly I'm at a loss of words while typing haha... then the same old usual 'time flies', 'can't believe it', 'Oh My God', etc etc floated by... How about 'It's Time'?

Disgusting Diners

Had dim sum with No.10 and his family at the Red (*) restaurant on Sunday. V crowded and the queue was like never ending. Lucky for us, we had seats once we reached. I was seated near the kitchen door, where these aunties will push trolleys of fresh-out-of-the-oven dim sum out and go section to section, asking you if you want siew mai, har gao, char siew bao, etc., depending of what they have - just like those restaurants in Hong Kong.

Alas, the concept is totally destroyed by the ugly and KS behaviour of the diners. I about to dig in when I noticed there seemed to be people crowding behind my back all the time, which shouldn't be the case as only the staff will walk to and fro the kitchen. Then i realised, all the diners have crowded around the area to wait for the food trolleys! Walau! The poor aunties cannot even push the trolleys out but stay put to serve. For those who successfully went further into the restaurant, they were also swarmed by other diners. I was so disgusted! Please lah, the aunties will do their rounds, and the frequency of the trolleys are quite fast, if this trolley is emptied, the next one will come soon! These trolleys are supposed to be MOBILE. If you people like to swarm about like that, then they might as well have STALLS instead, where the aunties just have to serve over the counter! Some go to the extent of opening up the 笼 to see for themselves what's inside. Shame on you!
