Grasshopper Right Now Concert 9 May 2009
They are finally back after 2 years and they are still damn hot! As USUAL, S'poreans take damn long to warm up... atmosphere only peaked during the last hour or so. But whatever, coz me n Shir were like constantly on our feet from the beginning, screaming away like kids haha..
Though this year we were seated farther away from the stage, we were still within the 'premier entrance' block. Best thing about Grasshopper's concert is they encourage everyone not to be seated and also to ignore the ushers standing by. And this year, seems like the ushers also don't bother trying to get us back to our seats coz nobody listens! Hee.. so by the end of the nite, me, Shir and No.10 were watching them from a few metres away from the stage. Highlight of the nite, me n Shir got to grab their hands when 蔡一智 and 苏志威 came down the stage. Can you imagine us running towards them and trying to 'touch' them amidst the mob? Haha! Too bad 蔡一杰 remained on the stage... wise choice though... coz if he'd come down, the crowd will go even more berserk.
There was a section where they paid tribute to their 师傅 Anita Mui and also 哥哥 Leslie Cheung.. kindda touching yet funny. They sang their songs and followed their dance steps, and also played the 2 stars' old music videos in the background. Then it was back to their dance party and the crowd finally got heated up. Our fave song, however, as to be <<永远爱着你>>... soooo niceeeeee, loving and romantic as always!
The concert ended at around 11pm... then we walked out and saw a group of fans at an exit waiting for Grasshopper to board the bus, so we joined in the wait as well. They were very friendly when they came out and 蔡一杰 gamely posed for pictures for the fans. Overall, great party, though I think 2007's was even better. Nonetheless, I'll be on to watch if they hit our shores again!!!

Foot-Printing
Everyday, we knowingly or unknowningly footprint on someone's life, someone's mind, someone's heart, someone's story.
From the most simple/basic to the most complicated/serious thing that you do; creating memories, impressions or even scars somewhere, somehow in someone.
Big, small, light, heavy, happy, sad, heartwarming, evil, loving, disgusting, generous, cruel, sweet, etc.
The happy ones, you would wish they are cemented on the ground and live happily forever; the sad ones created on the beach, totally wiped out upon the swish-swashing of a wave and still live happily forever.
The converse is true though. Sometimes, it's amazing how a cemented footprint can be transformed into a vulnerable one on the beach, facing the menacing waves in such a snap. While you were wondering where has all the foundation gone to, you could already have been gone with the sea.
Well, reality is such.
And I've lost my train of thoughts.
Damn.

What is worse when having a nightmare?
That you are not asleep.
By right by definition you can only have a nightmare when you are sleeping lah, but sometimes, bad, unhappy, sad, scary, etc. experiences befall on you when you are wide awake, and you really hope it's just a bad dream that you can wake up from, scream in fright, and everything's fine. Of coz, the converse is true - one could be having fantasy or happy dreams that he/she dun wana wake up from... oh well.
How we wish.
Things happen and things go. Irreversible at times too. I guess the scariest thing is you die die also have to go through the nightmare awake; Wait for the storm to be over. Whether you can recover from the fright after that is another story. Lessons that you learnt from it and hope / resolve not to have the nightmare ever again. Not everything/matter is within our control all the time though...
Wish I'm asleep now.

Dunno what kind of weather is this... so bloody HOT!!!
Yours Truly is one who loves sunshine and can tahan hot weathers, so when I say it's hot, it's really unbearably HOT!!!!
Especially at SGW where there are less trees and no tall buildings... it's almost like direct sunlight.

F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2009 Here We Come!!!
Bought tix this morning!!! $248 (per pax) for a 3-day pass, with a seat at the Bay Grandstand (the floating platform), where we can venture to another zone (Zone 4) to watch as well.

Babbling Time
Too long never blog liao, just wanna babble a bit ..
My dearest little brother enlisted liao. Time really flies... Seems like just a while ago when I helped to feed him, wipe his buttocks (always perfect timing, screaming '姐姐我好了' while I'm eating..), go fetch him from school, etc... Anywayz we went to tekong with him, quite an experience.. Life nowadays for recruits are really better though. The 2nd last and last stops were really damn funny. 2nd last stop was where they have to take the oath. How the hell will I know that they actually scream their NRIC and Names at the same time.. damn funny and I burst out laughing even though it was supposed to be solemn! My sis worse, laughed so damn loudly, which earned her a smack from me haha! Then came the last stop where we stepped out of the auditorium to proceed to the canteen for a 'temporary last meal' with the recruits. They were standing along each side of the path leading to the canteen and can only join their family as they walked past them. We also didn't expect this mah! Then we started laughing again. I was like 'You! Let's Go!' when I walked past my bro.. Just heard he fell down and kena a feel stitches last nite.. hope he's ok..
Just watched the live finals of F1 Shanghai. Tomorrow gotta buy F1 SG tix liao. The race day happened to be on no.10's bday. Since we missed last year's, this year gotta catch it live! Makes half a pressie for him as well. =)
Bought tix for my Europe trip already... leaving on 23rd July nite, coming back on 15th August noon. BA at $1,198, quite a steal I think. Detailed itinery is not out yet, but basically will be going London, Paris, Zurich, Rome, Venice & Florence.
Ran JPMorgan Corporate Challenge for the 3rd time on 16 April! Since last year's, I've only ran ONCE about 2 weeks back to prepare for it, so to speak. This year the route's slightly changed, starting point is still at Esplanade Drive but the ending point was the F1 pit-stop, so we get to see how is it like inside FOC. My timing was 43mins, same as past 2 years haha... quite satisfied already! Xin came to meet me as usual and brought me a cup of Brewerkz, much to the jealousy of my colleagues hee hee! Then she brought me to meet HUGE Grant of 'Nottingham' too. If you know what I mean! HAHA!
Work wise, feeling better than the 1st couple of months of the year, coz lotsa big projects coming up and am getting really busy. Bonus next month!!! =D Am kindda getting used to working there too, and I think the recreation room or more specifically pool table really helps. Allows me to bond more with the uncles too... gosh, so many good uncle players in CG!
Hmm what else... coming up, quite a few weddings to attend! And I still can't find my pink dress (I'm gonna be a sister)!!!! Bet none of u can picture me in pink rite.. neither can I...
Guess that's all for now.. did basically nothing for this weekend and damn damn hot!!!!

- Get my bonus in May.
**praying hard... 2 months is all I'm asking for to fund my trip** - Get a new job which can wait for me till August.
- Throw letter in Spider's face in June.
- Go for my Europe trip for total R&R in July in PEACE!!!
- Come back and start afresh in a brand new job environment.
Then I'll be as happy and satisfied as him...

Blackout Monday
Literally. Yours Truly really blacked-out in the train on Monday.
Was reaching Sembawang where I was alighting when I suddenly felt breathless and my sight was blackening. The last thing I remembered was I kept 'excuse me-ing' to hurry out of the train while I still can. Next thing I know, I felt my head bumping against the pole and felt the train still in motion. I was like, 'eh, how come train so long haven't stop at Sembawang? I thought it stopped?' Then I opened my eyes and realised I was in a kneeling position and the train just pulled into Yishun. Which means I totally concussed throughout that 1 but pretty long stop. So I got up, and woah, morning crowd leh, can you imagine the number of eyeballs on me... someone offered me a seat, someone pressed the intercomms button and I distinctively rem it was a she saying 'Someone fainted!' ... everything was kindda in a whirl.
Then this lady asked to help me with my bag n I was like its ok its ok, i have to alight. Then she finally snatched it away from me and helped me out of the station, where the Yishun personnel was already waiting outside. I was all-out in cold sweat and I was later told that I looked bloodless. I called my colleague, Uncle, as he was supposed to give me a ride to office from Sembawang. He told me to stay put n he'll come over to get me. This nice lady waited with me and The MRT Uncle took down my particulars, which was their SOP. Then I asked Nice Lady what happened, she said i suddenly blacked out and the guys behind me tried to support me but they don't really dared to touch me. That's when she stepped over. Then Uncle came, and I kept thanking both the Nice Lady n MRT Uncle before I left. Uncle brought me for a hot drink n bread before sending me back to No.10's place.
Kept having headache after the whole ordeal till now... No.10 took me to the doc, doc also can't tell what's wrong with me except I'm a bit anemic and maybe not enuff rest, and gave me 2 days MC. Been sleeping so much since yesterday... oh then i felt a pain in my knee and I realised there are a couple of huge orh-cehs on it... must have kneeled down quite hard -_-"
I'm ok already, thank you all dearies for your concern. What an experience.... so damn malu! No more next time I hope! CHOY!!!
